Why Palace Beach Resort in Fujairah, UAE Is Worth the Long Drive
The United Arab Emirates is blessed with beautiful beaches, thanks to its spot along the Arabian Gulf.
But among all the emirates, Fujairah stands out. It's the only one on the eastern coast, facing the Gulf of Oman. That gives it a special mix of gorgeous beaches and mountain views—a rare and refreshing combo in the UAE.
It was my grandson’s first birthday, and what a better way to celebrate it than with an overnight staycation at Palace Beach Resort in Fujairah?
Let’s be real—driving to Fujairah from Dubai, may not be something you usually plan for the weekend. But if you’ve ever dreamed of white sand, clear blue water, and a stress-free getaway, then Palace Beach Resort should definitely be on your list.
We made the drive (okay, my son-in-law drove), got our tans, and honestly—it was worth every kilometer.
Checking into the Palace
It was a nice surprise to see Filipino staff at the front desk. They welcomed us like family, and that instantly made the place feel like home. Check-in was smooth, fast, and totally stress-free.
The lobby was wide and airy, with comfy couches and a cozy reading nook—perfect for relaxing while waiting your turn at check-in or checkout.
The interiors were modern and stylish, but still warm and inviting.. And the long drive felt like it never happened.
More Than Just Picture-Perfect
The beachfront is clean, peaceful, and has soft, powdery sand—though not as white as Boracay’s in the Philippines. No noisy crowds, no loud music—just the sound of waves, the warmth of the sun, and pure calm.
And if saltwater isn't your thing, no worries—the resort’s pool is just as relaxing. You can chill by the poolside, sip a cold mango milkshake, and still enjoy the stunning beach view. The whole vibe feels like your own private paradise.
Rooms Made for Netflix (and Naps)
Our room was big, stylish, and super comfy—fit for royalty. The king-sized bed was so soft, I almost didn’t want to get up.
We had fast, free WiFi (perfect for posting those beach shots!), a smart TV, a mini-bar, and a Nespresso machine—which was my personal favorite. I had my morning coffee fix without leaving the room.
There was also a safety box for our stuff, plus coffee and tea-making facilities in case you just want to sit by the window and watch the Fujairah skyline.
The bathroom was lovely—complete with built-in TV speakers so you could hear whatever show you were watching while getting ready. There was a separate shower area and a separate toilet room, which was very convenient and clean.
The mood lighting was the cherry on top. I dimmed it during our Netflix time and boom—it felt like our own cozy cinema.
Food From All Over the world
Our stay came with unlimited breakfast, and it was the kind of spread that makes you want to wake up early.
There were so many choices! The buffet catered to all kinds of guests—Arabic, Asian, Continental, and yes, even a classic Filipino plate if you’re craving home flavors.
For those who prefer healthy options, there were fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, salads, and even a juice bar with choices like orange, carrot, and detox blends.
But if you're like me and enjoy starting the day with a full belly, the hot station was the star. They had an omelet bar, crispy bacon, hash browns, sausages, pancakes, and warm pastries that were hard to say no to.
And the coffee? Bold, hot, and satisfying. I had two cups... okay, maybe three. It’s the kind of breakfast you take your time with—go back for seconds, maybe thirds, and still wish you had room for more.
Drive, Don't Fly
Yes, Fujairah is a bit of a drive from Dubai. But if you’re looking for a beachfront staycation that truly feels like a break from city life, then Palace Beach Resort is 100% worth the ride.
Your soul—and your camera roll—will thank you.
